Last Post!

Kia ora everyone,

Thank you for looking at my post and commenting, this may be my last blog post on edublogs. I’m quite sad to stop, because it was fun commenting, replying, sharing, and learning about others and other people’s thinking. So this is my last goodbye.

See you year 6’s if you’re going to the same intermediate.

Thank you,

Elaina

I think all of them are yuck except the toasted tarantulas, they sound nice, and I feel they look nice and amazing. I think bugs are yum as well. I’ve always wanted to try a tarantula. I don’t know why I like them better I just feel like I would like it.

Do you like bugs? What animal would you chose?

If the river was the only water we could use to clean up, I would go in to clean myself, because I really hate being muddy or dirty like I hate going to bed without having a shower or clean feet and hands. I hate having bare feet I always like wearing sneakers. So I would clean off in the river but I would do it very quickly. Like I’m not someone to take with you on a very muddy hard hike, but I do like climbing and everything but I would keep my shoes on not in bare feet.

What would you do?

The Explorers Ponder 4

Hello, the novel does WOW words in its writing!

Here is my writing,

The sun rises above the horizon. Shimmering gold, shininess into your eyes. Fresh neutral bushes, swaying side to side, the leaves are a diamond like shape. You glance around your surroundings, terrified you see a whole pack of dark grey clouds. You wonder how bad they are when you look at the weather it announces,”A terrible hurricane is coming 8:00AM”, you rush to see the time… 7:am..

What did you think? Do you know which word I used?

The Explorers Ponder 3

Hello everyone, I think I would feel like it is the end of the world, if any passengers died I would try to help their family if they were sad even though I might not. I would be scared and devastated. I would think “What if we never go back?”

How would you feel? Why would you feel like that?

The Explorers Ponder 2

Fakalofa lahi atu everyone, if I got stuck in the Amazon forest, I would definitely need food and water because you need those to survive I would also have lighter so I can have fire to warm up or cook something. I would also have spear cloths, a tent or something to sleep in and a map that has a compass on the corner of the map so I know where to go.

What would you bring if you could only bring 6 things?

The Explorer Ponder 1

I would explore to where my ancestors are from, so I can find out of things that I didn’t know. So I would know more about them. Maybe going there might change me a bit and make me realise more that I should appreciate where I live and about my life my parents and how easy my life is compared to them.

Where would you go? Why?

Novel Ponder 4

Hello Elaina here from The Pod,
I think seeing things like boomboxes and cassette tapes would be fun. I think the technology is so fascinating like their technology was so different to our technology that we use now. Like their technology was so thick. The cameras are really cool. Also I use to have some toys that are really old but I don’t know where they went, but I wish I still had them because they were super fun!

Have you had something from back a long time ago? What was the thing that you had? How does it work?

TTRS Time Tables Rock Stars

This week our school is doing a thing called TTRS it stands for Time Tables Rock Stars, it wasn’t just our school that did it other school did. What you would do is answer questions and by answering questions right you would get coins and points. Apparently the class with the most points got a $30 dollar voucher to spend on their classroom. I think it was really fun. I don’t think our class won, but I am fine with that.

What did you do this week? Did you do TTRS, did you enjoy it and tell me why?
